5 Operating the appliance

When the appliance is switched off, all the displays are dark (stand-by mode),

except for the residual heat indicator should the cooking zone still be hot.

5.1 Switching the appliance on and off

➤ To switch the appliance on: Depress the touch button for about 1

second.

– flashes in the power level display.

– If no other entry is made, the appliance switches off after 10 seconds for

safety reasons.

➤ To switch the appliance off: Press the touch button.

5.2 Selecting a cooking zone

➤ Press or slide your finger along the slider to set the power level.

5.3 Overview of power levels
